ArchiVist is a sovereign archive platform built on the principle that your data stays yours. This page explains what limited data we collect when you visit this website, and how we handle it.

Cookies we use

This website uses one category of cookies:

• Analytics cookies — via Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you consent. These collect anonymised data about page visits and usage patterns.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools.

Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key cookie_consent. No preference data is sent to our servers.

Google Analytics 4

When you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-XNE00QTYLG). GA4 collects:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Browser type and operating system
• Approximate geographic region (country/city level)
• Referral source (how you arrived at the site)

IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use GA4 for remarketing or advertising. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.

Data retention & security

ArchiVist does not operate its own backend servers for this website. No personal data is stored on our infrastructure. Analytics data retained by Google Analytics is subject to Google's standard retention policies.

The ArchiVist platform products (Capture Node and Vault Node) are on-premise systems — by design, they operate without internet connectivity. No data from those systems touches this website.
